Indie rock band Young the Giant found immense success in 2010 with the release of their self-titled debut album. The effort, which spawned platinum selling hits, “Cough Syrup” and “My Body,” sold half a million copies earning the band’s first gold certification. Young the Giant continued their tremendous success with their subsequent releases. Sophomore work Mind Over Matter was preceded by “It’s About Time,” their highest charting single on the Alternative Rock chart. The band have consistently dropped several singles that broke into the Mainstream Rock and Alternative charts, maintaining their status as one of the most prolific indie rock purveyors in the circuit.
Indie rock band from Long Beach, Cold War Kids made their mark on the scene with the impressive debut effort Robbers & Cowards. The album found immense global success charting in the US, Australia, the UK, and beyond. Having been around since 2006, the band is celebrating their 20th anniversary of their debut album.
Indie rock solo artist KennyHoopla hails from Ohio. His entry into the circuit was his self released debut EP Beneath the Willow Tree, which is now celebrating its tenth year. KennyHoopla signed with Sony’s Arista Records and dropped several more incredible efforts including Blink and You’ll Miss It, a collaborative album with Travis Barker. Last year, he dropped his latest EP, Conditions of an Orphan.
