The Tedeschi Trucks Band was formed in 2010 and have become the 12-piece blues group known for giving homage to the blues music genre, but also adding and creating a fresh perspective that adds even more depth to it. Their debut album, ‘Revelator’ was the 2012 Grammy award winner for ‘Best Blues Album’ and last year they won ‘Band of the Year’ at the Blues Music Awards. Their various releases have been nominated and won awards, such as their 2014 ‘Made Up Mind’ grabbing the title for ‘Rocks Blues Album of the Year’ at the BMA and they were in the nominee short list for ‘Duo/Group of the Year’ at the Americana Music Honors & Awards. In a career spanning over 2 decades this is a huge achievement as it shows the talent and longevity of the band.
