Local rock band Counting Crows are performing live comes to Greek Theatre Berkeley on Friday 15th August. Sending out a YouTube message Crows frontman Adam Duritx announced the band will be spending the summer out on the road, the band have also been busy making a new album due to be released this fall. Counting crows are a Californai based rock band consisting of Adam Duritz (lead vocals, piano), David Bryson (guitar), Charlie Gillingham (accordion, keyboards), Dan Vickrey (lead guitar), David Immerglück (guitar, banjo, mandolin), Jim Bogios (drums) and Millard Powers (bass). Their debut album August and Everything After was a huge success and catapulted them into the spotlight. They have sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and are heavily influenced by Van Morrison, R.E.M, Nirvana and Bob Dylan.
