Houston-based psych-rockers is set for takeoff. Announcing their newest album "A LA SALA" coming out this April, the iconic musical trio is also heading back to the stage, bound to perform their biggest hits, all-time favorites, and new anthems. Taking flight, the band's massive return took fans by surprise, led by their newest hit single "A Love International".

Khurangbin's new album, "A LA SALA", comes out on April 5th, followed by a special Coachella performance kicking off their headlining tour throughout the summer, concluding in October. As their first album in four years, fans have been waiting for this very moment.

Known for their unique blend of global genres including Thai funk, Middle East pop, Jamaican dub reggae, R&B, and a touch of soul, Khruangbin's music shares how diversity can connect hearts, by the power of sound. Though they're characterized by a wide array of influences, they've shared that "copying" or "replicating" sound isn't what they intend to do. They are genuinely inspired by these global sonic elements to create a new and unique experience for listeners. Indeed, we've been blessed by Khruangbin's masterpieces.

"We want to be able to go to Thailand and Ethiopia one day, play our songs and have them make a connection with the people there — that they can hear their music, but it's not a copy," Laura Lee shared via The Source Weekly following the release of their third LP "Mordechai".

Now, with "A Love International" at the forefront of their highly-anticipated release, the album is said to be a combination of the trio's creative legacy. "A LA SALA", the Spanish phrase translates into "To The Room", signalling a home-bound Khruangbin, knocking at every listener's heart.

An official statement shares that "the building blocks…for ‘A La Sala’s’ 12 songs were jigsaw pieces found in Khruangbin’s creative past," made up of fragments that the band is yet to explore. "Having stockpiled ideas originally set down as off-the-cuff recordings (voice-memos made at sound-checks, on long voyages, as absentminded epiphanies), they began fitting those pieces together in the studio for ‘A La Sala’."

Last 2020, the band released their third LP "Mordechai", and only had the opportunity to share their masterpieces to the live stage in 2022. The album featured some of their hits and fan favorites, "Time (You and I)", "So We Won't Forget", "Pelota", and "One to Remember".

"A LA SALA" comes out on April 5th. Make sure to pre-save and stream the record ASAP, and gear up for takeoff at their comeback tour. Book your tickets now!
